High School Assistant Principal

This position will involve working with staff, students, and parents at the building level in a career academy model, overseeing the Freshman Academy. The Freshman Academy is the structure for our ninth-grade students focusing on core instructional areas, while also exploring career based courses.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrate a strong work ethic completing assigned tasks and responsibilities with minimal direct oversight, establish high expectations for students and staff by serving as an instructional leader, build and foster strong relationships, offer effective oral/written communication in providing direction and feedback, and utilize data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

This position offers a 260 day contract period. The anticipated start date is July 1, 2025.
Selected candidate must hold or be eligible to obtain a Nebraska Administrative Certification with Secondary endorsement. This administrative position requires District residency.
