1:00     (En)roll me Away: Option, Grade Placement, Attendance, and More! with Bobby Truhe and Steve Williams - KSB School Law
The only thing certain about enrollment issues in Nebraska is they keep changing!  Two years in a row the option laws changed, not to mention PK, repeating grades, and evergreen complexities of court and DHHS-involved youth.  This presentation will be a fast-paced reminder of the state of the law, upcoming items for your to do list, and real examples we’ve seen so far this year.

2:00     Stay Disciplined: Hot Topics in Student Discipline with Bobby Truhe and Steve Williams - KSB School Law
We’ve now lived with the major changes to the discipline laws for a year.  Thankfully, most administrators haven’t had to work through the new laws, but it’ll happen for every administrator eventually.  This presentation will start with a quick reminder about those changes and move into the new discipline, digital citizenship, dress code, and related First Amendment trends and newest cases to know about this year.
