Elba Public Schools has a vacancy for the position of Superintendent of Schools. Elba is a small community situated in the northwest corner of Howard County in the beautiful North Loup River Valley of central Nebraska. Elba is 30 minutes from Grand Island, 10 minutes from St. Paul. The Elba community exudes great pride and support for their school. You will feel welcomed and valued as a part of the community.  Elba Public School is a PK-12 district with 107 students. The administration and staff are dedicated to meeting the individual needs of each student. Elba is a Class D-2 school which prides itself on providing a wide variety of courses, delivered by a highly qualified staff in a small school environment. •  Provide continuous professional development for staff
•  Formulate short-term and long-term capital asset improvement plan
•  Actively engage with all education partners to create a positive shared school culture
•  Possess a clear understanding of school budget development and management
