The Board of Education for Franklin Public Schools, Franklin, Nebraska, is seeking a highly qualified, fully certified, educational leader to serve as Superintendent. The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume the responsibilities of the position July 1, 2025.

McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C., Executive Recruitment and Development, has been engaged as the consultant in a search for outstanding candidates. They will assist the Board of Education in identifying and screening the candidates.

The Qualifications

The candidate must have the background, skills, and abilities essential for excellence in educational leadership. The Board recognizes that selecting a superintendent is one of the most important decisions it will make. The Board seeks a Superintendent who possesses the following leadership and personal qualities:

• A community-minded leader that is open-minded with a high level of integrity and able to collaborate with stakeholders

• Someone with strong communication and public relations skills that is accessible and involved throughout the community

• Someone with energy and enthusiasm to build positive morale

• Someone with a vision and strategy to recruit and retain staff

• Interviews with the Board of Education: December 3rd & 4th, 2024
• Board meeting to approve new hire: December 9, 2024
