Superintendent of Schools

Yutan Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Superintendent of Schools. Yutan is located 15 minutes west of Omaha, just across the Platte River on Highway 92. Yutan has unique blend of small town atmosphere near the Omaha-Lincoln metro area which provides ample opportunities for recreation, dining, and entertainment within short driving distances. The local community has many services and amenities available as well. The PK-12 student enrollment is approximately 500 students. The mission of Yutan Public Schools is "Empowering growth in and beyond the classroom."

The board is looking for applicants who can:
• Grow programs for all students to prepare them for college and career;
• Utilize strong leadership skills and professional development to guide the board and administration;
• Monitor legislation that may affect the district while maintaining a stable budget;
• Continue progress on the district strategic plan to move all toward a common vision.
