Purpose:  NAPSL, an affiliate of NCSA, works collaboratively to improve the preparation of educational leaders in Nebraska and to facilitate communication and engagement among key partners in education, including practitioners from institutions of higher education, school districts, Educational Service Units, professional associations, the Nebraska Department of Education, and other stakeholders.

Responding to the needs of Nebraska schools, NAPSL has focused on the issues of school superintendent recruitment and retention through collaborative processes across the group’s member institutions.

Identifying a need to strengthen the knowledge of sound educational assessment practices among many educational leadership candidates, NAPSL has created an Assessment Literacy Curriculum resource for use by its member institutions, educational partners, and stakeholders.
