Emerging Administrators Workshop

Each year, NCSA offers the Emerging Administrator Program for individuals interested in becoming school administrators. The registration fee includes presentations from Nebraska administrative experts and education partners, program materials, and—if desired—a résumé review or mock interview. NASES Legislative Conference

This multi-day event features a virtual legislative update, a new-member leadership session, senator meetings at the Capitol, collaborative roundtables, and a NASES business meeting with networking opportunities. The conference concludes with a breakfast and a State and Federal Look-Ahead presentation from the Nebraska Department of Education.

Business Manager Training

This workshop will provide business managers with a thorough understanding of common and emerging legal issues that arise in school business matters. Attendees will come to understand the legal realities of what business officials may (and may not) permissibly do under the law and commonsense solutions to tricky problems.

Preparing for Student Legal Issues

Thursday, 08/13/26 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
This workshop will cover Nebraska's Student Discipline Act (including any legislative updates) and recent legal issues to put on your radar. Additional topics may include FERPA, Student Discipline, Custody and Parenting Plans, Option Enrollment & Residency, Special Education Issues, and time for Q&A.
