This comprehensive workshop will provide you with the legal requirements for your student handbooks. Attendees will receive practical tips and suggestions for improving student handbook language. Properly worded, student handbooks can give administrators flexibility to manage student privacy, dress codes, extracurricular issues, student searches and more. The school attorneys will also provide guidance on forms that every school district should be using, including sample forms that your district can use during the 2016-2017 school year. This workshop is a "must" for every school administrator who interacts with students on a daily basis.

  • Detailed guidance and instruction on the use and implementations of rules within student handbooks
  • Sample forms relating to student conduct and related matters
