Appointments with Senators
The very best way to influence your State Senator is to meet in his or her work environment at the Capitol.
Please contact your senator in advance to arrange for a short meeting between 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm on February 23. Some materials will be provided for your discussion by NASES at lunch, but we encourage you to bring the following as well:
   1.   A student success story…make it real!
   2.   Your District’s Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) showing high expectations for special education.
   3.   If available, any data that show how you are closing the gap for students with disabilities.
